It is critical that as many paid members (including Board Members) attend this meeting as possible. Bike Cobb will hold a general membership meeting and conduct elections for board members at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday July 27th, 2010 at the Rockledge Apartments Clubhouse, 2075 Powers Ferry Rd., Marietta, GA 30067.

Does anyone have children who cycle that would be interested in joining a Cobb Youth Bike Club? We are trying to get an idea if there is enough demand before we start the process.

As you know, we are an all-volunteer organization, officially incorporating in 2008. In August we will be holding elections for officers and board members. I have informed the board that I will not be seeking re-election as the President, yet I will continue to attend meetings and offer advice.

As such, for those of you interested and willing, you might want to start thinking about joining the board and/or participating in our elections. To do so, you need to be a paid member. Just go to our home page and click on the "Donate or Join" button.
