Beginner Road Bike Clinic
Who: Beginner women
When: April 30, 6 pm
What: Beginner road biking clinic at stone mountain, focusing on climbing, descending, cornering, group riding.
Where: Meet at the parking lot at the base of the walk-up trail (West gate)
This will be a women's only beginner clinic- we will start with some basics, including drills, and then do some loops around the mountain to learn the climbing/descending/group riding skills. Email Linda Demma at ldemma@gmail.com if you will be coming.
Advanced Road Bike Clinic
Who: Advanced women riders
When: April 30 at 6pm
What: Advanced road biking clinic focusing on better climbing techniques, descending, cornering in pack of rider, gearing options, and pack riding skills.
Where: Meet at the parking lot at the base of the walk-up trail (West gate) in Stone Mountain Park.
Why: We all want to become more proficient and better riders so bring your friends!
This will be a women's only advanced clinic- we will start with some basics skills and warm-up then we will proceed through more advanced level riding techniques and finally try them out on the open road. There will be a beginner road bike clinic being held at the same time so please choose wisely and according to your skill level. Both groups will start out together and the instructors will make sure the riders are placed into the appropriate group. There needs to multiple women for this clinic in order to teach the higher level riding skills like close pack riding and corning in groups so please tell you friends.
