We're looking for about 3-4 volunteers to help staff a Bike Cobb information
booth at the Simpson Middle School Health Fair - Friday 3/27. Setup at 4:00 pm,
fair 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
We'll have hand outs for children's bicycle safety and proper helmet fittings.
Just bring yourself and your bike helmet to demonstrate proper fitting.
The school is concurrently holding a 5K/2K run and are trying to encourage
physical activity for the kids, their families, and the community. The run is
also helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
This is another great opportunity to increase public awareness of Bike Cobb in
addition to educating children and families on bicycle safety.

To date, there have been no takers to volunteer for this event. Perhaps because it's a Friday night. If no one comes forward by the end of the day on Monday, I will have to cancel our participation.
