SATURDAY, MAY 8th "Road Cycling from the Marietta Square"( 7:45am.- 10 am)
New to road cycling? Want to ride with a group, but don't know anyone to ride with? Afraid of being left alone to fend for yourself? If so, this is the ride for you! We will be meeting at the Marietta Square at 7:45 and leaving at 8:00. We will shoot to go 20 miles and try to average 12 to 15 mph. We will ride to the pace of the slowest rider and no one will be dropped. I do ask that you come ready to ride, and if 20 miles is too far, please speak up at the start so that we can make any needed changes to the route or split the group. I would like to keep this to a 2 hour ride, so we may shorten the distance if we need to. I am also looking for others to lead this ride on say the 42nd Saturday of the month. I also need someone to fill in for me next month as I will be out of town on the 2nd Saturday of May.We can go for coffee on the square after we get back.
